Because every teen deserves nourishment.

Who We Are

We’re Vivian, Q, and Lydia, three siblings and student-athletes balancing school, practices, games, and everything in between. Vivian is a high school junior, Q is a high school freshman, and Lydia is in 8th grade.

Being constantly on the go, we know how important it is to have real fuel to stay energized, focused, and healthy. But we also know that not every teen has access to something as simple as a snack after school.

That’s why we started the Youth Nourishment Project.

We’re a teen-led nonprofit, and we’re currently building a full board that includes other local teens who want to make a difference alongside us.

Our Story

Our story started with our grandmother, Marilyn.

Through her work with her local food pantry’s Kids’ Snack Bag program, we saw how something small, like a bag of snacks, can make a real difference when it’s consistent and comes from people who care.

At the same time, during Thanksgiving 2025 and the government shutdown, our family was having a lot of conversations about food insecurity and how much need there is, even in our own community.

It made us realize how easy it is to take something like grabbing a snack before practice for granted.

That stuck with us and pushed us to do something about it for teens.

Why We Do This

We’ve seen how important nutrition is, and how easy it is to take it for granted.

For many teens, especially after school, having access to healthy, convenient food isn’t guaranteed.

We believe that should change.

Every teen deserves the fuel they need to grow, focus, and succeed in everything they set out to do.
